You are eligible to vote in the electorate once you have lived in that electorate for one month or more.

Before travelling overseas, I have relocated to a new place. Which electorate would I belong to and how do I find out?
You are eligible to enrol in the New Zealand electorate where you last lived for one month or more before moving overseas. If you lived temporarily at another place for less than one month before you moved overseas, you are not eligible to enrol at the temporary address. You will need to enrol at the place before this.
